Marbella has recorded nearly 1,000,000 overnight stays during the months of July, August and September.
400,000 overnight stays were from domestic tourists and 573,000 from foreign nationals, representing a 2.44% increase compared to 2009 figures.
According to the National Institute of Statistics (INE), provided by the city of Marbella, the figures show a growth of 3.42% in the case of Spanish travelers and an increase of 9.22% in the case of foreign nationals.
Regarding the average stay in hotels, there has been a slight increase compared with last summer, going from 4.25 days to 4.48.
